Shipping policy

At Velauras, we aim to ship your handcrafted candles safely and quickly. Please review the policy to understand our shipping timeline and procedures.

1. Shipping Timelines

We dispatch orders as early as possible while ensuring safe packaging for fragile candle products.

Domestic Shipping (India):

  • Metro & Tier-1 Cities: 4–6 business days

  • Other Cities (PAN India): 6–9 business days Delivery timelines may vary due to courier delays, festivals, or unforeseen logistics issues.


2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are usually processed and packed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

  • During sale days or high-volume periods, processing may take an extra 1 day due to fragile packaging requirements.


3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:
✔ Delivery location
✔ Order weight
✔ Packaging type (especially for glass jar candles)Free shipping offers may apply during promotions.


4. Shipment Tracking

Once dispatched, customers receive a tracking link via Email/SMS.

  • Tracking may take up to 24 hours to activate after dispatch.

  • Customers can track their order anytime via the provided link.


5. Logistics Delays

Velauras is not responsible for delays caused by courier or third-party services, including:

  • Weather or natural disruptions

  • Transport strikes

  • Courier network load

  • Public holidays

  • Regional restrictions

Refunds or cancellations will not be accepted for delays beyond our control.


6. Failed Deliveries & Wrong Address

To avoid failed deliveries:

✔ Ensure the address, phone number & pin code are correct at checkout.

If the courier attempts delivery but fails due to:
– incorrect address
– customer unavailable
– incorrect number

Reshipment charges, including RTO (Return to Origin) fees, will apply.


7. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, broken, melted, leaking or missing:

For damage claims:
✔ An unedited unboxing video recorded from start to end is required.
✔ Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

Without proof video, replacements cannot be processed.


8. Fragile Product Safety

All jar candles are shipped in secure packaging with:
✔ Bubble wrap
✔ Fragile marking
✔ Double-layer box protection

Despite all precautions, damage due to courier mishandling must be verified with video proof.
